Global Digital Broadcast Welcomes Endavo in Multi-Million Deal
This partnership furthers GDB's existing IPTV services to the Americas, whilst extending Endavo Media's offerings into the UK and across Europe. Under the agreement, GDB will market Endavo's online delivery platforms to its own clients and also enable Endavo customers on the GDB network. In exchange, Endavo will offer the GDB IP set-top box to channel and content owners who are seeking IP distribution in addition to online strategies.
Mr. Paul D. Hamm, Endavo CEO, comments; "The days of the big guys making all the programming decisions and all the money are over. Independent content producers and programmers are realising that they have the ability to attract viewers through the web and through alternative platforms like IPTV and that, this way, they get to keep more of the profits. We are partnering with a world-class IPTV provider in GDB to make that concept a reality."
Mr. David Wray, GDB co-founder and CTO, says; "Our venture with Endavo further expands the opportunities of both companies, internationally, and proves once again that there is a huge demand for such IPTV services. GDB is more than happy to offer Endavo's services into the UK and European markets, where our brand is already very strong. Likewise, it is great to enable the GDB platform, on the Endavo backbone, throughout the US."
Mr. Mario Pino, vice president of entertainment and media at Endavo, says; "Having GDB as a connected partner will help us expand our customer base more rapidly, both in the US and internationally; with an integrated, portable, IPTV solution; and the fact that GDB will also offer Endavo Media platforms to its own customer base, accelerates our growth even further."
Mr. Jim Deans, GDB co-founder and managing director, continues; "Watching this deal being put together and coming to fruition, over the past six months, proves once again how small companies can explode into the global market. I anticipate multi-million revenues from this deal and I am extremely proud of the team; especially my co-director, David Wray, who made it happen."
