26 March 2008 (Brighton, UK): Baeble Music (www.baeblemusic.com), which produces live concert programming, highlighting emerging bands from the best venues across the USA, announces its deal with UK-based IPTV world leader, Global Digital Broadcast (GDB) (www.gdbtv.com), in order to launch its 24 hour music channel on GDB’s PlayTV UK service.

Baeble’s 24 hour channel will include select concerts and its signature show, the popular “Green Room”, which gives its viewers access to VIP and ‘behind the scenes’ areas of the concert experience; and will be available as both a stand alone channel and also as part of the PlayTV UK ‘entertainment’ package.

PlayTV UK, one of GDB’s international IPTV offerings, is a new British broadcast network which has incorporated high definition and digital technologies, in order to provide a triple play package (within the UK) including IPTV, telephone and broadband services. 10,000 subscribers are believed to have already signed to the PlayTV UK service, which began to rollout in January 2008.

Baeble Music will also be included across GDB’s other territory services. Currently, GDB has additional IPTV networks in America (brand: SuncasTV); EMEA (brand: Via America); the Philippines (brand: IPQube); and is about to launch a Russian service (brand: MaksTV). GDB also provides IP set-top boxes which enable viewers to watch its channels on television sets, as well as on PCs and compatible devices.

Expect to see Baeble working with other IPTV broadcasters throughout Europe and the US as the technology grows in popularity.”

Currently, Baeble Music features a growing collection of 100+ concerts filmed on locations in music venues in New York, Los Angeles and Austin.

These high-quality shows, selected by Baeble’s staff, feature some of the country’s best up-and-coming acts; from indie-rock groups to heavy metal, Americana, experimental and pop bands.
